We don't mind bragging that our WI has been described as 'Refreshing and modern ........eat your heart out non-members and join the queue to join this forward thinking WI.' So come and join us and have some fun.
We are always keen to welcome new faces to our WI so if you are interested please take a look at our Programme page for this year's speakers and dates. Meetings are held at Kingston Bagpuize with Southmoor Village Hall. Our meetings are open to everyone so you don't have to be a member to come along - just turn up! Kingston Bagpuize with Southmoor WI members get free entry to all our meetings and there is a small charge of £3 for non members.
Why not come along on your own or bring a friend with you. You will find a warm welcome. You may attend as a visitor on two or three occasions, and we are sure after these trial meetings you will want to become a member. October is a great time to become a Kingston Bagpuize with Southmoor member for the bargain price of £31.50. Joining in October means that you get 15 months for the price of 12. Becoming a member has lots of perks including the Oxfordshire Federation Newsletter and 'WI Life' Magazine. WI Life is published eight times a year and is delivered directly to your door. It is an eco-friendly magazine printed on 100 per cent recycled paper, using vegetable rather than chemical-based inks. The magazine wrapping is completely biodegradable.
If you aren't able to attend regular meetings, you can join as an NFWI Associate for £40 a year. This entitles you to our membership magazine WI Life.
WI has an unrivalled reputation as a voice of reason, integrity and intelligence on issues that matter to women and their communities. Support for British agriculture, the importation of foodstuffs and small abattoirs are just some of the issues on the WI campaigning agenda.
Come and meet Kingston Bagpuize with Southmoor WI and enjoy friendship in your own community. Have a night out with a variety of talks and demonstrations. You will be surprised - it's much more than just 'Jam and Jerusalem'.
